Notes of root beer/beet root interwoven with roasted Provencal herbs, black currants and even blacker fruits such as blackberries are prominent in this full-bodied, concentrated wine, which has fabulous fruit, sumptuous, a deep, multi-layered texture and a sensational finish of close to 40+ seconds.
Cuvee de Felix, comes from 80-100 year old vines and is composed of 65% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre, 5% Syrah and 5% miscellaneous varietals. The 2010 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee de Felix boasts a gorgeous deep ruby/purple color along with abundant notes of sweet kirsch liqueur, loamy soil, forest floor and lavender.
